On December 20th Andrew turned the big 2!! His birthday was on a Thursday but we celebrated with family on Saturday night. Andrew wanted a Thomas birthday cake. We had tamales and rotel cheese dip. Andrew had a great time! I can’t believe that my baby boy is 2 already. He has brought so much joy to our family. He is the sweetest little fella!

Sophie the Gymnast
Sophie started taking gymnastics in August. She really enjoys it and looks forward to going each week. A few weeks ago they had a Christmas showcase. Families were invited to come see what the pre-schooler’s have learned so far. My little shy Sophie is doing excellent. Her friend Meredith takes with her and they were so sweet watching!
Stretching and warming up!
Pit races
Everyone was presented with a trophy. Sophie was so proud!
Way to go Soph! Keep up the great work!

The Nutcracker 2012
A couple of Sunday’s ago, Sarah Beth’s dance studio performed The Nutcracker. SB was in the “Party Scene”. She did a wonderful job on stage. We were so proud of her performance!
She also did a tap dance to Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.
Sophie was excited to see her friend from school, Farrell.

Oxford
Syd’s cousin Abby got married in Oxford last Saturday. This was my first trip to Oxford and it is the cutest town! We arrived Friday afternoon so Dinnie and Scott could go to the rehearsal dinner.
We stayed at The Inn at Ole Miss which is on campus. We woke up Saturday morning, had breakfast at the hotel and headed to The Square. We did a little shopping and met up with family for lunch at City Grocery.
After lunch we went back to the hotel so the girls could nap before the wedding. Syd and I walked around the school. Ole Miss has such a nice campus. Then we got all dressed up to see Abby get married.
The trolley drove us to the wedding and the reception. The girls enjoyed the ride!
I did not get a picture of the bride and groom but the girls and Syd had a blast on the dance floor!
While we were having fun in Oxford, Andrew had fun with Nana and Papaw! He was such a good boy for them. Here he is driving Brandon around on the Gator!
We had a nice weekend getaway…no we are gearing up for Christmas!
A little taste of the beach…
Thanksgiving night my mom, sister, the girls and I drove down to Gulfport, Ms for Black Friday shopping. We had a great girls weekend shopping, eating and playing. The girls begged to go see the beach so we let them put their feet in the sand for a few minutes. I captured some good pics!
Thanksgiving at Colonial
Colonial Day School invites the parents each year for Thanksgiving lunch and the children get to dress like Indians and show us what they have learned. We have done this for several years now and we enjoy it so much. Here is Sophie, a.k.a. Soft Rabbit, showing us all around.
