New Year’s Eve is Uncle Jason’s birthday also!
Christmas morning is my favorite especially since I have children now. It is so magical to see my children wake up on Christmas morning and see what Santa left.
The girls played a serious game of Jenga with their uncles!
MeMe got the kids a trampoline. They love it!
Later that afternoon we went to Nana and Papaw’s for a late lunch and to open more gifts.
Andrew and Brandon were waiting patiently on gifts!
The boys love their new cowboy boots!
The girls got all kinds of good stuff…tennis shoes, new quilt, and North Face jackets.
We had a wonderful Christmas and we are all beyond blessed!
We always go to the early Christmas Eve Mass that is geared for the children. Sarah Beth read a petition and Sophie carried the gifts down this year. They were so sweet! After Mass we went to my parents house for the Rodgers’ family Christmas. We ate good and played Dirty Santa. It was lots of fun seeing our family!
Rodgers 1st Cousins….and yes Stephanie is adding a little girl to the family in February!! Can’t wait!
Reed usually entertains us with his guitar but he had to leave for work. So SB played a few tunes on her violin for us!
When we got home the kids put out the reindeer food and cookies for Santa and then they went fast to sleep!
I am still playing catch up on the blog. I have not posted about Christmas yet…ahhh!!
I always bake a Gingerbread Boy and Girl with my Kindergarten students and I thought it would be fun to let my own children do this. It was so fun and the kids had a blast making and decorating their very own Gingerbread person.
