December Activities

December was full of activities for the kids!  The Friday after Thanksgiving my Mom, sister, the girls and I went on our annual Black Friday shopping trip.  This year we shopped at the new Outlets in Pearl.  It was a fun day!  The girls saw Santa first thing that morning!

As if SB hasn’t been busy enough already she had her school program at St. Francis.  The first and second graders performed The Christmas Story.  It was beautiful.  SB played the bells and did a fantastic job!

On that following Saturday, Sophie had her gymnastic showcase!  Her class had the chance to show us what they have learned.  They did an awesome job!

Thanksgiving 2013

The Thursday before Thanksgiving Colonial Day School celebrated their annual Thanksgiving lunch.  We were so excited to get to go this year and celebrate with Andrew.  We have done this with both girls and I just can not believe that Andrew is old enough to do this!  My baby is growing up.

Meet “Good Brave”.

Sophie also had a Thanksgiving Lunch in her Pre-K class this year.  Here is “Sunflower”.

On Thanksgiving Day we went to MeMe’s for lunch.  We spent most of the day hanging out with family and enjoying making memories.

Halloween and All Saints Day

I am a little behind on posting about Halloween but here it goes.  The Saturday before Halloween we went to the Knights of Columbus for their annual “Trunk or Treat”.  The kids had a great time!

Halloween Day the 2nd graders at St. Francis dressed up as their favorite Saint and they had a program in the gym.  Sarah Beth chose St. Elizabeth of Hungary.  She had a good time researching this Saint and she did an excellent job telling about “herself” at the program.  Sophie got to sit with us and her class got to wear their Halloween costumes and parade down the hall.
