Hanging Out...

We had a pretty laid back weekend! Sarah Beth had a birthday party on Saturday morning and then she went to MeMe and Pop's house for the day. She helped Jason plant flowers and hung out with him. She loves Uncle Jason! We will miss Jason b/c he is going back to school today. Syd had a meeting in Jackson so mom came over to help me clean the house. I still haven't been released from my Dr. so I shouldn't do any heavy duty work right now! :) Sophie and Andrew played and napped while we worked!
Saturday evening I took the girls to Mass and then mom met us at El Sombrero. It was good to get out of the house and spend time with my girls. On Sunday, Syd took the girls to the KC's to eat Meatloaf Dinner with his family. I stayed home with Andrew and relaxed!

I will enjoy these relaxing weekends because soon SB will be playing soccer on Saturday mornings. She is super excited!!!

A Birthday Party for 2!

On Sunday we celebrated Uncle Jason and Aunt Ko-Ko's birthdays. Jason's birthday was on December 31 but he was out of town and Kori's birthday was January 11 so we had a combined party! Syd grilled burgers and everyone had a good time hanging out, watching football and playing with the kids! Here are a few pics from the party!

Big Sisters, Baths, Bedtime Stories

We are enjoying Andrew so much around our house!! The girls are the BEST big sisters and they always want to help change diapers, feed him or pick out his outfits. They love to hold and love on him also!!
Andrew went to the Dr. 2 weeks ago for his 2 week check-up. He weighed 7 lbs, 13 oz. He is 4 weeks old now and I wonder what he weighs?! He has a cold and his little nose is stuffy. I hate that there is nothing I can do for him except give him some extra love! I let him sleep with me when he is feeling bad!

Andrew's Homecoming Day

Andrew and I did so well at the hospital that they let us go home after just 2 nights. I guess they think we are "pros" since this is our 3rd baby! Ha!! We didn't arrive home until around 6:00 that evening. The girls were super excited that we were home. Andrew had a great night and has done really well ever since!! He eats and sleeps!! He is a really laid back baby...thank goodness!! He eats about every 3-4 hours and sometimes goes 4 1/2 hours at night if I am lucky! I couldn't ask for anything better! He has been sleeping in our room right next to my bed for the last 2 weeks but I decided to let him sleep in his crib last night. He did great!

I took him to the Dr. on Monday for his 2 week check up...His stats are 7 lbs 13 oz and 19 in long. He left the hospital weighing 7 lbs and 1 oz so he is doing great on gaining weight!!

We have been blessed to have many family and friends come by to meet baby Andrew. I tried to get a picture of everyone but I know I forgot to take a few. I will catch you next time!

 

 

 

Andrew Kelly Johnston

Our son, Andrew Kelly, arrived on Monday, December 20, 2010. He was born at exactly 4:30 p.m. weighing 7 lbs 6 oz and 19 inches long. We are so excited that he is healthy and decided to come early right before Christmas! What a great early Christmas present for us! I had been on bedrest for 3 weeks prior to his arrival so you can imagine that I was anxiously awaiting his arrival! Each week I took my bags to the Dr. hoping that she would say, "He is coming today!". But she was scared to take him too early fearing that his lungs would not be developed. But on the 20th I was already 4 cm dilated so she told me it was my lucky day! Mom took me to the dr. that morning so I called Syd and told him to get to Jackson! Both girls were there wearing their "Big Sister" t-shirts that Mrs. Morgan monogrammed for them. They were SUPER excited to say the least! Both girls love their little brother!!

Back in November I had the girls picture taken by 2 sisters called Frick Frack Foto. They did a fantastic job with the girls and I was really satisfied with the turn-out! Here are just a few from our photo session. I can't wait to have them made in the Spring when Andrew will be included as well!!
