It’s been a while…

Thanks to my friend Morgan, I have found a new EASIER way to blog…Windows Live Writer!  It is so quick and easy.  I just updated my classroom blog with several posts and it didn’t take long at all!  Yay!  We had a very busy but fun summer!  I enjoyed every minute of time with my precious children.

Sarah Beth started Kindergarten this year, Sophie is moving up to the “Big School” at Colonial and well…Andrew is growing up too fast for this Momma!!  He is 8 months already.

I am going to try and catch this blog up with a few fun pictures!

Syd and I took the kids to Gulf Shores in June.  We had so much fun.  It was Sophie and Andrew’s 1st time in the sand and they loved it!  We ate at lots of good restaurants, swam and relaxed for 5 whole days!  Here are just a few pictures I took from our trip.

Family Day at St. Josephs Seminary

Today we spent the day with Uncle Jason at St. Joseph's for "Family Day". We had mass at the beautiful church on campus and lunch afterwards. The kids had the best time playing and looking around campus. Here are the kids all dressed up for mass.
Uncle Jason with Andrew and SB (Sophie wouldn't sit still for a pic!)
They even had a little music and of course my girls had to boogie down!

Thanks for inviting us Jason. We had a great time and can't wait to visit again!!

Audobon Zoo

Jason invited us to Family Day at his school St. Joseph's in Covington, La so we decided to leave a day early and take the kids to the Audobon Zoo in New Orleans. We had a fantastic time. The weather was beautiful and it made for a perfect day. On the way down we stopped at Middendorf's for lunch. The food was yummy as usual.
The kids enjoyed seeing all of the animals at the zoo. SB said her favorite was the seal lions. They watched them while Andrew and I sat in the park watching the ducks in the fountain. Next time the girls want to bring their swim suits b/c they have a water area where you can cool off! We had a fun time but all of us were exhausted by the time we arrived in Covington at our hotel. Everyone slept like a log!!

3 months old!

This post is long past due but I have been so busy lately that I haven't found much time to blog. Imagine that me busy with 3 kids, working, dance, soccer etc....Ha! Anyway, this sweet handsome boy turned 3 months on March 20th. He is the best baby. He is so laid back and doesn't cry unless he is hungry or just needs a little attention! ;) He has had 3 ear infections since he was 8 weeks old. This last one just won't go away...boo! He doesn't act sick...just smiles and smiles. He loves to coo and talk. He has the cutest dimple in his right cheek. He is weighing in at a whopping 13 lbs!! We have a chunky monkey and we love every bit of him!! Here are a few 3 month pics...not the best but so cute!

I had to put this one up to show his fat rolls!! LOL! He loves hanging out with his daddy looking on the internet!

Happy 5th Birthday SB!

Today my oldest baby turned 5!! I can't believe that it has already been 5 years that Syd and I first became parents. Sarah Beth is a super fun child! She is so smart, outgoing and sweet. She is a little social butterfly and is the BEST big sister! She is such a blessing in our lives. We love you SB!!

Here are a few pictures from her skating party that she had on Friday night. Most kids brought their bikes or scooters and they had free reign of the roller rink! SB had a great time with her friends.

I ask SB what she wanted for her birthday dinner and of course she said "Mexican"! She loves El Sombrero. She wanted to wear the extra large sombrero and the waiters to sing Happy Birthday to her. She kept asking, "When are they going to sing?!" She said that was her favorite part of the day...oh the little things in life! We had a great weekend celebrating SB's 5th birthday!!

A quick trip to Gulfport!

This is Spring Break week for us and we have been busy! On Monday Kori had a doctor's appointment in Jackso so we thought that this would be a great day to visit the new Ms Children's Museum but guess what!? It is CLOSED on Mondays! Oh well....we decided to shop at Target instead.
On Tuesday, me and my 3 kids, Kori and Brandon and Mom and Dad loaded up 2 cars and headed south to Gulfport. Mom and Kori wanted to do a little outlet mall shopping and I thought it would be a fun little getaway for the girls during Spring Break! They did awesome on the ride down but the weather quickly turned nasty! We did enjoy a little shopping but the girls were more excited about our hotel room suite. So I took them back and let them have fun playing in the room. Wednesday morning I had planned on meeting a couple of friends with their girls at the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center but the weather was really stormy so we canceled that. Once the weather cleared up we loaded back up and headed to Hattiesburg. The girls love the "Golden Eagle" store so I let them shop for a bit and then me and the girls drove on to Vicksburg while Mom, Dad, and Kori did a little more shopping in Hattiesburg. I was worn slap out by Wednesday night!
Thursday we had a very "laid" back day. We did enjoy our favorite lunch at Nannie and Grandaddy's house...Chicken and Dumplings! Yummy! Today is Friday and it is Sarah Beth's 5th birthday party at Big Wheelie Skating Rink! Check back later for the birthday post!

Here is my sweet boy sleeping soundly in the hotel!

Sarah Beth enjoyed playing in the closet....I thought this was a cool picture!

Andrew's Baptism

Sunday, March 6, 2011 we had Andrew baptized at St. Paul Catholic Church. This was such a special day! Andrew was so lucky to be surrounded by lots of family on this day. Bryan, his godfather, traveled from Birmingham to be there and Holly, his godmother traveled from Oxford to be there. Here are just a few pics from the ceremony. My camera died so my sister has lots of good pictures on her camera. I will post more when I get them from her!
