Sarah Beth performed in her program “Wee Americans” with the other Kindergarteners and Pre-School students on Thursday. It was a very patriotic program. She did an excellent job! My cousin Reed also sang “I’m Proud to Be an American”. It was really touching.

I haven’t posted in a while but we have been busy with the same ole stuff…work and having fun with the kiddos and family!
This sweet little boy is 13 months now. He definitely has my heart! He is still not walking! He would rather crawl everywhere and plus he has 2 older sisters that like to hold him! He LOVES to eat. He will eat just about anything you put in his mouth! He went to his 1st “friend” birthday party this month. His best buddy from daycare, Louis, celebrated his 1st birthday.
We helped Ko-Ko celebrate her birthday. She had lots of help blowing out her candles.

Sarah Beth celebrated the 100th Day of School in Kindergarten. She wanted to dress up like a 100 year old lady. She wore her pj’s, nana’s robe, my slippers, used Pop’s cane and wore some cute glasses.
Nana also helped her make a necklace with 100 beads on it.
The girls got new bedding from Nana. Sophie was so excited about her big girl bedding!
I took SB to the Miss Vicksburg Pageant. We met up with Morgan, Mary Katherine, Claire and Claire’s daughter and friend at El Sombrero. We then all rode to the pageant together. SB had a great time hanging out with the junior high girls!
The speech teacher at our school had a daughter, Jeralyn participate in the pageant. Claire made some cute signs…and Jeralyn won!! SB wants to go to the Miss Mississippi pageant now!

I think the most exciting news this month was that SB lost her 1st tooth…well teeth! She lost both of her bottom teeth at the very same time. She let Syd pull them out. Her permanent teeth are already coming in so they helped push them out.
She was so excited to wake up to find that the tooth fairy had made a visit. She got a 2 dollar bill for each tooth!
Andrew’s Baptism was way back in March. My camera died that day and I didn’t get very many pictures with my camera. My sister got several with her camera and I finally got a copy of them just the other day. I wanted to share these special pictures from Andrew’s special day! I can’t believe how much my baby boy has grown since then.

2011 was a great year for us! Sarah Beth turned 5 and started Kindergarten. She is growing up too fast for me. Sophie turned 3 and moved up to “Big School” at Colonial. Andrew turned 1 and moved up to the one year old room at Small World. We are so blessed to have 3 wonderful, healthy children. We have stayed busy with them and our jobs.
Addisyn (our cousin) came over to play on New Year’s Eve. They played outside most of the afternoon while Syd and I cleaned out our storage shed (a much needed to do project!). The girls had a great time!
New Year’s Eve night we were invited over to MiMi’s good friends house, Carol or Carol Robby as my kids call her. My girls just love Carol Robby. She had the BEST fireworks. They really were awesome!

Christmas was so much fun this year. You know when you were little you went to bed on Christmas Eve with butterflies in your stomach and you can’t sleep good because you are so excited to get up and see what Santa left?! I felt that way again…it is just as much fun now that I have kids. Seeing Christmas through my kids eyes is so magical. Both girls were super excited this year! Sophie is finally old enough that she understands Santa and she actually asked for certain gifts. Of course, Andrew didn’t have a clue but he has really enjoyed his new toys!
