Easter Fun!

We have spent the entire weekend with family and it has been awesome! Friday afternoon, MeMe and I took the kids to India’s house to dye eggs with Mary Makenna and Wil.  The kids had a blast!

Saturday morning we went to an Easter Egg hunt at the Knights of Columbus.  It was a beautiful day!

After we left the egg hunt we went to the hospital to visit my Grandaddy and take him an Easter Lily to brighten his day. 

On Sunday morning the kids woke up to see what the Easter Bunny had left in their baskets.

Sophie was determined to wear her Christmas pj’s!  That girl is a mess!  SB loved her curling iron that she has been asking for, Sophie loves her flip flops and new shorts and well Andrew just loves the CANDY!

I just love the girls Easter dresses that MeMe ordered for them.  They look so grown up!  Here are a few pictures before church.  It is so hard getting any type of group shot!

After church we had the family over at our house for lunch.  We enjoyed a delicious meal and another egg hunt in the backyard.  Dale, Jennie and the kids also stopped by for an afternoon visit!

Our family has had a wonderful Easter celebrating our Savior’s Resurrection.  I hope your family has been just as blessed!  Happy Easter!

I love these children and playing outside makes them happy!  The weather has been just perfect to play outside.  We enjoyed the Playground at Catfish Row one day during Spring Break!

Andrew turned 15 months this week.  He went for his well baby check up during Spring Break.  He weighs 24 lbs.  He is in the 50th percentile in his weight and way low on his height…poor man…he is going to be short like his mama!  He is still NOT walking.  He will take a couple of steps here and there but the doctor is not worried.  He said that he will walk when he is ready. I guess he doesn’t really have to walk…he has plenty of people to tote him around!

Sarah Beth’s Painting Party

On Saturday Sarah Beth had her birthday party at “That’s Sooo Cool”.  It is a painting place here in Vicksburg that my friend Taffy and her co-worker Tammy have opened.  It was so much fun.  The girls (and boys) had a blast painting.  They worked super hard on their paintings and got to take them home!  Thanks to all of SB’s friends who came to her party and made her day so special!

I love how Sophie was standing in her chair.  She was really focusing on her artwork!

I think their work turned out awesome!  What a great party!!

SB’s actual birthday was yesterday the 14th.  We took her to lunch…she chose El Sombrero.  I think she likes to go there so she can wear the large sombrero!

 

After lunch Nana, KoKo and I took her on a shopping extravaganza!  She needs some summer clothes and that is just what she got!  That evening Syd grilled hamburgers at her request and the family came over to celebrate a little more.  I made her an ice cream sandwich cake and she enjoyed opening a few more presents!
