Animal Kingdom

On our 3rd full day in Disney we went to the Animal Kingdom Park.  The kids enjoyed this park as well!  They got to see Mickey and Minnie dressed in their Christmas outfits!

We saw the Lion King show after we got autographs and it was amazing!  I didn’t get any pictures because Andrew was asleep in my lap.

We decided to go see “It’s a Bug’s Life”. The kids did not like it too much. I guess they didn’t like all the 3D action.

After we had dinner at this African Restaurant there was a band playing in the middle of the street.  Andrew LOVED dancing.  He was the center of attention!

We left Animal Kingdom around 6:00 that evening and went back to our resort to freshen up.  We decided to head to Downtown Disney for a little night life…wow it was so busy and crowded!

Epcot

We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Kidani Lodge.  We had a huge balcony from our room and had the privilege of watching the animals. Here is our view from our balcony!

 

 

We spent our 2nd day at Disney at Epcot.  It is not as magical as Magic Kingdom but it was fun.  The girls had the opportunity to meet many of the Disney Princesses.  They loved this of course!

We went on the Nemo ride and then enjoyed seeing the sea animals…Sophie had a perfect view from Uncle Jason’s shoulders!

After we grabbed a bite to eat we explored several of the countries. Our first stop was Canada.

It was time for dinner and we did not have a reservation for the evening but we got really lucky in Norway!  There was only a 20 minute wait and all of the Princesses were signing autographs!  Yay…the girls were pumped!

After dinner we were worn out and it had started to rain.  We purchased a few ponchos and headed back to our resort!

Magic Kingdom

We spent our first full day at Disney at Magic Kingdom.  We arrived around 7:45 a.m. and we didn’t leave until around 9:30…whew what a long day.  It was so magical especially at night.  All of the Christmas decorations were radiant and the castle was gorgeous at night!  The kids had a great time and took in all of the sights.  We rode lots of rides including It’s a Small World, Peter Pan’s Flight, Dumbo, Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Haunted Mansion.  We saw a few fun shows and had brunch with Pooh and friends.

This Gingerbread House was inside the lobby of The Grand Floridian.  It was so pretty and smelled yummy too!

but he did NOT like the characters! He stayed glued to the table and kept his eye out for any that came our way.  He wouldn’t let us pick him up for a while…poor baby was terrified!

The day was a success!!  We went back to the resort, cooked a pizza and went to bed!

Disney Bound!

The kids were so excited to go to Disney World.  We kept this trip a secret for months.  It was so hard but SB’s face was priceless on Christmas morning when she found out! 

We arrived at the airport only to learn that our flight had been delayed by an hour or so…

Once we finally got on the airplane…somebody fell straight to sleep!

 

The girls were too excited to take a nap.  They enjoyed the short plane trip to Orlando!

We took about a 30 minute ride from the airport to our resort on the Disney Magical Express.  We checked into our Villa and then went downstairs and ate at the hotel restaurant.  We turned in early for the night and got up bright and early the next morning for a little Magic Kingdom fun!
