Baby Boys!

A few Friday's ago we helped give a BABY shower for Syd's cousin Bryan and his wife Tori. They are expecting a baby BOY around Thanksgiving. We couldn't be more excited that our boys will be so close in age! Tori and Bryan got so many nice gifts and the food and fellowship was great! It is always good to have all the family together especially for such an exciting event!

SB's 1st Day of Pre-K

Sarah Beth is growing up so fast! She had her first week of Pre-K at St. Francis last week and LOVED it! Syd, Sophie and I walked her in on the 1st day. She waved bye to us and didn't even cry but I almost did! MeMe is the librarian so I feel better that she can help her anytime! Her teacher is Mrs. Hoxie and SB adores her! She is already asking for homework! That girl! Here are a few pictures on her 1st day....our little Catholic School Girl!!

Catching Up...

Well....it has been a while since I have updated the blog! We have been busy busy busy!! The end of school is always busy and exhausting for me but this year was a little more because I am expecting BABY #3!!! I am due January 4th and we couldn't be more excited! Sarah Beth can't wait for the baby to be born...she ask every other day when he/she will be here! I told her after Santa comes! We find out the sex of the baby July 28th and of course we are hoping for a boy but will be happy with a girl too as long as this baby is just as healthy as our other 2.

Sarah Beth is getting ready to start 4 year old Pre-K at St. Francis this year! She is excited! We have been getting her uniforms ready and they look very cute on her! I can't believe she will go to "big" school. My little girl is growing up too fast! MeMe will be there to take care of her so I am not worried a bit!

Sophie is growing like a little weed! She is talking up a storm now and keeps us entertained all the time! She is a little comedian. She likes to do everything her big sister does...you know "monkey see monkey do"!! They both enjoy dressing up in dress up clothes or swimsuits. We have been going swimming a good bit. Sarah Beth is improving but still has a lot to learn. Sophie doesn't care for the pool too much unless Syd is throwing her high into the air!! She would rather sit poolside eating her snacks!

I will include some recent pictures from our 4th of July get together very soon!!

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful and blessed Easter! SB was so excited about the Easter bunny Saturday night that I had to give her some Benadryl to help her go to sleep! Ha! Both girls were beside themselves when they woke up on Easter morning to find their baskets full of goodies! We had a great church service at St. Paul's and then hosted lunch at our house for our families. After lunch SB talked Uncles Jason and Scott into hiding some eggs. SB found all the eggs...Sophie wasn't very interested in finding eggs this year. She just wanted the chocolate! We had a great time visiting and playing with family!!

St. Pat's Day!

My in-laws were sweet enough to come to Sherman Ave for a visit on St. Patrick's Day. Dinnie was on Spring Break and Big Syd had the week off. We had read a story "The Night Before St. Patrick's Day" and in the story there is a picture of a man wearing a kilt. The kids thought that was so funny so I invited Big Syd to play the bagpipes for the Pre-K and Kindergarten students at school. They loved it even though they thought the pipes were a little loud. Dinnie had the chance to read a couple of books to my class also. Thanks MeMe and Pop for the visit!!!

Look at the faces on some of my students...maybe we were grouchy! Ha!
