Curry Farms

I had the opportunity to go with Sophie and her Pre-K class to Curry Farms on their field trip.  It was such a fun day!  I enjoyed getting to know her friends a little better and just being a mom (not a teacher on the field trip!). 

When we arrived we jumped on the wagon and took a little tour of the tree farm.

After we got off the wagon we went through the corn maze!

They have this really cool “trampoline” to jump on.  I even jumped a minute…so much fun!

Homecoming Night

Friday night of St. Al’s homecoming finally arrived.  SB was so excited to wear her beautiful gown that we bought in Metarie, La a few weeks earlier.  She was also excited to walk across the football field.  That Friday was Grandparents’ Day at St.  Francis so I checked the girls out early and we took SB to Mrs. Cindy to get her hair curled.  She even put a little make-up on her.  It was an exciting time.  I will let the pictures do the talking.

Before the game we stopped at the “old” St Francis where Syd went to elementary school and did a mini photo shoot.

St. Aloysius Homecoming Parade

St. Al celebrated homecoming October 11th.  Sarah Beth was chosen to be an attendant for the Homecoming Queen.  She was honored and very excited! 

She rode in the Homecoming Parade on Thursday with Brady, the other attendant.  They were so cute riding in the convertible and waving to everyone!

The boys enjoyed the parade and seeing SB coming down the street!  SB had lots of supporters!

After the parade we went to the school for the Pep Rally.  SB and Brady were presented with the Homecoming Maids and Sponsors…it was a fun night!

Sophie’s 5th Birthday!

Sophie turned 5 on October 9th!  Where does the time go?? It seems like it was just yesterday that our sweet bundle of joy made her appearance 4 weeks early.  Sophie is the sweetest little girl.  She is a good friend and loves her big sister and little brother.  She is in Pre-K at St. Francis this year and has adjusted really well.  I just can’t believe she is growing up so fast but she will always be “Mama’s little girl”.  Her actual birthday was on a Wednesday.  Syd and I had the opportunity to eat lunch with her at school.  That was a special treat!

That night we grilled burgers at Nana and Papaw’s house.  All of the family came and we enjoyed some Pie from Bops!

On the following Saturday we had her birthday party at GymSouth which is where she takes gymnastics.  It was a total blast and many of her school friends and cousins came to join the fun!
