On Sunday the guys (Syd, my Dad and Brad) went to the WW2 museum and the girls/kids went to the Insectarium. This was our first visit to the Insectarium. It was really cool. I think this was SB’s favorite part of the trip. (I think Andrew was still tired from the zoo!)
The museum had a Butterfly exhibit. It was really awesome. We stayed in there for a while looking at all of the beautiful butterflies. They liked my white shirt because a few landed on me and hung out for a while!
After we finished up at the Insectarium we had lunch at the Hard Rock Café. Then we walked along the River and met the guys at the Aquarium.
Sophie just woke up and she did not want her picture taken if you can’t tell!
When we got into the aquarium a diver was cleaning the coral. The kids loved watching her swim around and of course they loved the fish!
Here are the girls in the Riverwalk mall having fun!
For dinner we went to Mulate’s. This is one of our favorite restaurants to visit in New Orleans. It is very family friendly and it has a fun atmosphere. The food is great as well!
Mulate’s has a cajun band play every night of the week…so of course we had to dance!
We had so much fun! Syd took the girls to the swimming pool at the hotel to end the night (as if they had not done enough that day!)
Monday morning we had breakfast at a place called “Mothers”. They are known for their baked ham. It was a great place to end our vacation.
After we ate we boarded the train and headed back to Vicksburg. Sophie and Andrew slept most of the way so I didn’t take any pictures (plus I was just plain tired!) We always enjoy New Orleans and this trip was no different!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Mulate's. Sooooo many soccer memories at that place! Looks like you all had fun!!!!!
